I was born in 1987. I spent all 12 years studying at Nikan School, one of the best schools in Tehran. Since 2006, while studying civil engineering at the undergraduate level, I have been working at Nikan School as a teacher and then as a consultant. Gradually, the goal of “humanization” which was one of the main goals of working in school, motivated me to work in the humanities. My previous interest in psychology and my new vision of working in school led me to decide to change majors.  As a result, by gaining the 5th rank in the master’s degree entrance exam, I started my studies in the field of educational psychology at Shahid Beheshti University, and at the same time, I accepted new responsibilities in school.

While studying for a master’s degree, I realized that I had many options for serving people besides being a teacher. Gradually, I became interested in social psychology and organizational psychology, and after graduating, I also gained experience in the field of human resource management counseling. During this time, I came to a new understanding of “organizational psychology” and realized that the lack of sufficient attention to this field in nearly all of Iranian organizations and institutions is one of the main reasons for our weakness in management, especially human resource management. Every small and large organization needs a human resource manager who, by looking at people correctly and psychologically, manages them in a realistic way and cares about their motivations and demands, not just hiring and determining the responsibilities, salaries and benefits of them.

With a little research, I found that there was not much attention paid to this major in the academic field, and except a few universities, most of the leading universities in the field of psychology have not yet shown interest in this field. So I decided to go to one of the best social science universities in the world, LSE, to study in this field in order to gain the necessary knowledge and expertise to work in this field.
