I was born in 1987 in Tehran. I ranked 52th (top 0.01%) in Iran’s Nation-Wide University Entrance Examination of 2005 attended by 330,000 candidates and entered the Mechanical Engineering School at Sharif University of Technology. During my university years, while I was always a top student, in order to practice teamwork and leadership, I took many voluntary positions in our university’s clubs and gained valuable experience. These experiences, along with my ambition to have much more impact, have inspired me to continue my graduate education in Management. As an aspiring graduate who was interested in project management, I joined the Siemens Locomotives Project at MAPNA GROUP as a Technology Transfer Coordinator. After several months, I became the Head of Training and then I established and headed the Human Resources Development department. Two years later, I was offered to join Middle East Bank by Dr. Aghili (the CEO of the bank). Following my interest in Finance and aspiring to experience a completely new environment and learn other aspects of business, I left my managerial position and started fresh again as a Credit Analyst in Middle East Bank.

During my six year tenure at the bank, my previous leadership experiences and persistent attitude have helped me to progress quickly and take on several important responsibilities including Head of the Credit Department, Manager of the Credit Operations Department, Advisor to Managing Director in International Affairs, and Central Branch Manager.

After several years of research, I have come to the conclusion that getting an MBA from a global elite business school will be the best way for me to be prepared for my international career aspirations. I was fortunate enough to get the admission from my dream school, INSEAD, which is the best business school in the world. Therefore, by winning Honorable Haamee Scholarship, I will be able to enter one of the most competitive business schools in the world as a young Iranian student, and with the valuable knowledge and experience that I will gain, I will try more than ever to advance my beloved country.
