Technical University of Berlin

She was born in Tabriz in 1985. She got her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Studying MBA at the faculty of Management and Economics at Sharif University made her more familiar with the development, business management and Economics and made her more inclined to continue her studies in public policy at Tarbiat Modarres University. Simultaneously, with working at the Center of Technology and Innovation Cooperation for Presidency of Iran, she got acquainted with policy issues, decision making models and policy implementation in Iran. She is completing her Ph.D. in Iran with her doctoral thesis titled “The model of Collaborative Governance in renewable energy development of Iran: Institutional perspective”. However, in order to complete its mission, learning lessons from successful countries in sustainable energy development and finding answers to challenges of renewable energy development in Iran, she decided to conduct another research in Germany, at Technical University of Berlin, which is leading in creating platforms for sustainable cities, smart cities and developing MBA programs in Energy.

She hopes that by doing this research- accompanied with her two little girls- she will learn the scientific and implemented mechanisms of collaborative sustainable development. She plans to become one of the key policymakers in the field of the environment and climate change to promote policies in reducing pollution and enhancing the quality of the air we breathe.
